La Cuevas de Nerja
The caves of Nerja are some of the largest and most beautiful caves in the world. They are located near the small town of Maro. The caves were first discovered in modern times in 1959, when five young people from Maro and Nerja decided to go bat hunting. The stalactite caves, archaeologists found skeletons, clay pots and tools, which proves that the caves were inhabited from 25,000 BC until the Bronze Age. Dehar also found cave paintings and huge stalactites formed over the last 800,000 years, but started about. 25 million years ago. These fantastic caves are transformed to a natural scene in the summer months, hosting music and dance festival. In Buddhism, a Kalachakra stupa, a stupa, the symbolism is not associated with events in Buddha's life, but instead created to protect against negative energies. It is the rarest stupa. There are activities such as rock climbing and archery.

Have you the courage to hold a live crocodile or see one of the world's largest crocodiles, visit the crocodile park outside Torremolinos. Open: All year. The park is next to the Aquapark Torremolinos.

From here there are magnificent views over the coast and Malaga Costa Del Sol. Search for "Telecabina" for more info. The cable car is driven also by "Selwo Adventure Parks Group", the ones which also operates Selwo Aventura in Estepona and Selwo Marina in Benalmadena port. You will find Telecabina by the hamlet Arroyo de la Miel (which is completely engulfed in the big city Benalmadena, but is a city in itself). Look for signs for Tivoli World. Just opposite the entrance to Tivoli Gardens you will find the entrance to the funicular.
All along the coast - but especially from Gibraltar - there are plenty of opportunities to try a dolphin safari. Here you get a cruise around with a good chance to see and photograph various species of dolphins, occasional whales, flying fish, turtles, etc..
Of course you can just stay home and read a good book!
